Experience the microaggressions people of color face in this VR experience!

Microaggressions in Canadian schools are often not a topic of discussion or properly educated. Many People of Colour (POC) experience microaggressions in school environments without awareness. In Canadian school populations, where POC are the minority student population, POC may experience microaggressions or racial biases towards them. With education about these experiences, we can bring awareness to many people to prevent the marginalization of POC in education environments. In this VR experience, I put the viewer in the point of view of the person of color

to create an experience that invokes empathy and awareness of the experiences POC go through. There will be three real life stories of their choosing.

I am a Haitian-Canadian undergraduate student at Concordia University. Being a graduate from the Film Animation program, and now currently an undergraduate student in Psychology, I like to combine my artistic skills with psychology to create interesting film experiences. Born and raised in Canada, experiencing microaggressions in school inspired me to create this VR experience.
